From a young age, Kayla has had an unwavering passion for animals. She always knew she wanted to dedicate her life to working with them—she just wasn’t sure which path to take. Growing up surrounded by dogs, especially German Shepherds, Kayla developed a deep appreciation for their intelligence, loyalty, and unique personalities. In her early twenties, she decided it was time to have a furry best friend of her own—not just the “family dog.” Bringing home her first German Shepherd puppy at just eight weeks old was a turning point. Watching him grow, learn, and develop his own personality sparked something special in her. Seeing that curious puppy brain work hard to understand the world; inspired Kayla’s desire to train dogs and continue learning, growing, and helping other animals and their owners form the same bond.
